Which one to choose since there are powers "out there" that look like the real thing.

Poem Artwork

Into the light.

            There are two.  Which one?

The bright light.

            Both are bright.

The one with auras of blue and gold.
            Both are the same;
            I hear whispering in the light.

The blue and gold?
            No, the other;
            One sounds like my brother.

Go there then.
            Um, no, he was, uh, committed suicide
            And I don’t want him to see me.

Then the choice is clear:
Go into the other……

That’s about it, pastor.
I head him say, “Oh, no!”
And he was in the light.

Beyond great. {No explanation marks necessary.) B r i l l i a n t
is as close as I can come. Not enough superlatives in Roget's!
Really, George. Having lost my brother to suicide, I am with you
all the way. If he was anything like you, the loss is unfathomable.
{Again I have chosen an inadequate term; forgive me?}

With gratitude, respect, and affection,

Intriguing & interesting...I'm so glad he is in the light! This causes the reader to read it over a few times and absorb every line. I enjoyed this!
