I told you, “Don’t do it Miss Kitty,
you better stay home tonight”
But you’re so stubborn it’s a pity
and now just look at your plight!

You quietly sneaked up behind me
and streaked right out the door
Ole Matt Dillion was there to give you
what you was a lookin for

He’s a cowboy with a reputation
tomcat romeo of the neighborhood
Now just look at you Miss Kitty
You and Matt aint been up to no good

You’re a tabby cantaloupe with nipples
Wreckless actions do cause ripples

Ole Matt done rode on off into the red sunset
after takin all the pleasure that he could get

And Miss Kitty where does that leave you?
With more mouths to feed than a few

I tried to tell you Miss Kitty
not to go out that night
cause Matt Dillon was hangin around
hoping that you just might

Now you make the best of it Missy
and don't raise no cowboys at all
cause cowboys is hard to handle
they's bad boys for whom good girls fall

Miss Kitty
You better raise them young uns right
And you can bet you’ll be goin to the vet
Matt won’t get you another night!
