The Devil went down to Georgia
through Carolina and Tennessee too.
She flew into town, feelin down
lookin for a man like...YOU!
When she came upon a certain poet
writin verses and pennin em hot.
So the Devil jumped up on his desk and said
“Baby, let me tell you what.
Well you may not know it, but I’m a poet too
and if you aint scared and care to share
we’ll blend some ink, me and you.
Now you write a pretty hot poem
but give a She-devil her due
I’ll bet your soul against this pen of gold
cause I can write hotter than you.”
The Poet said my name is famous
and I might be actin a fool
but I can sure out-poetize the devil.
My poetry is wayyyy coool.”
Poet find your thesaurus and grab your Schaffer pen
cause hell’ll break loose in Ga if the Devil wins again.
Now if you win you’ll get that shiny Schaffer made of gold
but if you lose the devil takes control!
Musical Interlude
Well the Devil logged onto his pc, said “I’ll go first.”
That Poet didn’t know it but now he was in for the worst.
The Devil pulled up a new screen and with an evil hiss
what she typed on that blank windows doc
gave even the Devil a shock
and it read somethin like this...
blanky blanky blanky blanky blah blah woo
I want some blanky blanky do you want some too?
(Musical Interlude)
When the Devil finished the Poet said
“Well you scorced my shorts for sure
but looky here at this verse of mine
it’s anything but pure.”
And he wrote....
Got fire in the furnace, snow on the roof.
The Devil’s here and wants some proof
So I’m about to tie her down
I’ll carpe diem and go to town
Musical Interlude
They had a big dispute then, about who had really won.
Who penned the hottest sonnet, who was the down and dirty one?
The Devil said, “Now Poet we could settle this dispute
I’ve been feeling a bit horny and well, you are...sorta cute.
You can say you won the pen, I’ll let you save your face.
If you don’t mind a little fire and brimstone
we could go on down to my place.”
And she wore ....
Vicky’s secret and Chanel’s scent
Had that ole boy crazy hell bent
He couldn’t resist her if he wanted to then
and the Devil knew... she’d won AGAIN!
