Fallen
By La Belle Rouge

you have fallen, My Son, into a pit
and none of my words, nor prayers
have been strong enough to lift you
none of our tears have been dried
for mine fall now as yours once did
when tricycle wrecks caused them
and a mother’s kiss could heal all

oh God, if only I could kiss away
those festering lesions in your soul
exorcize dark demons of destruction
with mother’s blessed touch of hand
oh to light a candle in your darkness
pull you close to me in the sunlight

you have fallen, My Son, My Darling
so deep into the crevice of despair
you can no longer hear loving words
nor feel mother love surrounding you
if I could take these spirit wounds
upon my own soul, I would bear them
I can’t reach you, return to me soon

Belle, bursting with that innate need to cure and aid. Lost in the helplessness of inability to reach far and deeply enough. How immensely sad. May peace love and joy welcome you this day my dear friend. Jon Michael

Reminds me of the movie, "The Fallen," where some of the good angels wanted to return to heaven, but the only way they could was through the redeamer, good one my dear, hugs

Oh God La Belle you bring me to tears with this because the pain is so deep and so hard for a mother to stand by feeling helpless. My heart and love go out to you...

Be always safe,

Nothing wrings a mother's heart like her babies in pain - and especially the frustration of feeling, fearing there is nothing more we can do to help or heal them, Belle. As your gut-wrenching, final lines state, we would kill or die for our children. We would rise up as the tigress and lie down like the lamb. I greatly believe that what we are helpless physically, emotionally to achieve, God can supply spiritually to fill that breach. If this is a personal write, then I would urge you to wrap your beloved in a warm swaddle of God's spirit, which is irresistible, and let Him carry the load and do the work. Change WILL come, in it's way, in it's time. "Falling" can be deliberate or unprovoked through sickness or whatever; mothers can't possibly be everywhere, terrestrially speaking, but their spirits can - and God's! A moving poem beautifully crafted through the pain of the pen. Bless you and yours, Darlin, always. xx

Belle, this tears at my heart..I know that you have been a wonderful and caring mother..Someetimes our children just get dealt a bunch of catastrophic hands. One day, he will return to you, complete and whole, but it is his duty to do this...No matter what you do or say, until he wants to be helped or healed nothing will matter..He needs to want to get better more than anything else, more than drugs, more than alchohol, more than any addiction. I lived with an alcoholic father and mother, and then a husband..I stopped that cycle almost too late, I went to alanon, and it helped me to understand that it wasn't me it was them. So now I read my book "Language of Letting Go" everyday and it helps to keep me focused on my journey not theirs.

Sorry to go on an on, but you have certainly hit a nerve with this eloquent poem from a mother's heart and soul..You are a beautiful woman and a good mother..Peace my dear friend, find peace.

Peace, love and light,
Amber V

Deconstruction is thematic in the contemporary world, no less personally than globally. It is a universal illness. The problem permeates our society down to the bone, and only good moral leadership living sound Godly precepts by public and private examples will save the Republic now.
