Within the human heart love occupies every chamber. To have one give that love to another unsought is the greatest gift one can receive. The subject of your poem had such a gift bestowed upon them. Love is mysterious at times and we must cherish it when it is given to us. Not all of us are so fortunate and never receive it even when we seek it out.

You seem to be revealing yourself slowly in your poems of romantic interludes of your life, Belle.
I have never seen this expression before even though, from your quote, it comes from Shakespeare. While I've heard of unrequited love, and firmly believe that the best love comes when one does not seek it, your poem is both surprising and refreshing in its uniqueness. Your poem also shows magnificent affection for the one not sought but encountered, anyway. Kudos.
