Bare Shoulders

time stands still

and I wake to the sounds of morning
tender kisses against bare shoulders
and the sensation of liquid love
still sticky on my inner thighs

good morning, Sweet Love

memories of our wild abandonment
to love’s torrid night pleasures
play over again in my waking mind
tastes, scents and sounds of “Us”

I belong to you

I belong with you, always
bodies, minds, souls merged
I want you, need you, like breath
I give you all that I am, or will be

your name, my delight

I loudly sing it in the night
with every touch, every thrust
I whisper it softly at dawn
with each kiss against bare shoulders

you make me happy
