Black Hearted Jack

Scourge of all tha seven seas
Black Hearted Jack tha scum
no one but his self ta please
he pays no tribute to no one

His sword's a thing a wonder
long and sharp, hard as steel
with it he's purloined plunder
persuaded many ladies to yield

Below tha deck in captain's cabin
many a winsome wench he's had
their baubles and flowers grabbin
aye, none a them thought it bad

Beware all ye royal cargo ships
not safe yer treasure and rum
using his pistols and his whips
all ye bounty he'll have afore done

And if thar be any ladies fair
a sailin on yer sloop or brig
Black Jack takes booty where
they be wearing nothin but a wig

Once a red-haired wench he met
while idle down in ole Nassau
a red haired vixen not to forget
for she be bonny, bold and raw

Tamed his ways, stole his sword
but only fer a stormy season
call a the sea Jack couldn't avoid
sailed away fer that very reason

Black Jack that scurvy seadog
the scourge of all seven seas
wild, drunk on rum and sea grog
wanton wenches beg him “Please”

From what I read in certain history books, captains had a cabin boy to clean and such & not only had them but HAD them, when a wench was nowhere near...just for point of information...~e~

Yo ho ho,
The Jolly Roger flies.
Beware of ol' Black Jack,
He'll cut you down to size.

A great descriptive of a pirate and being a bad boy...

Always,

Women usually seem to like it "rough," and especially from the bad boys. And, there wasn't anything badder than a pirate captain. And of course, it took a redheaded damsel to do him in--for a brief time.

You got all the vernacular and pirate lore wrapped into this one. Kudos.

Ron
