This is so true. I have six cats now, and although they can cost a bit, they really do relax me when they sit on my lap. I don't know I'd do without my fur babies. I love to read too, with a cat on my lap.

I think cats are the the coolest. They answer to know one, but they do warm the heart and offer companionship. Enjoyed.

How sweet! I'm sure it is a great comfort. When I was visiting an assisted living home they had three comfort dogs wandering around the elderly could pet if they desired.

As much as cats are so cute and cuddly, I won't have a cat in the house (cat hair and cat box smell). When my little Pomeranian buddy would sit on my lap, we both got too hot, so he would lie on the sofa, next to my right leg while I watched TV eating my popcorn. If that got too warm, he would leave the room and go to the floor of the bathroom to lie flat bellied. But every once in a while, he would look around the corner to see if I was still there. I miss his love for me.

I agree. I miss the cat on my lap I used to have before the landlord killed it. There are some really creepy personalities lurking out there for need power and using animal cruelty to satisfy. Enjoyed this.

I love this text. We don't have cats of our own since I'm allergic. But we have our neighbors cat that seem to have adopted us. Everytime we're out on our patio he comes around to keep us company. Where we are now in the canary islands we have a beautiful little wild cat that comes around to keep us company when we sit outside. Cats are the purrfect company!
