Bill, this world is in a sad state of being. Society has come forth to a time we all need to be weary. However, I thought this poem perfection, a ray of light. I too, prefer to fly.
This reminds me of the Beatles' song, "Let It Be." As an educator, I witnessed a lot of "cults" among students. Unfortunately, I have to admit that I also witnessed some of the prejudice to which you refer in your verses here. Thank you for sharing, Bill. Love and peace to you,
