SAVANNAH NIGHT The orchestra summons Triple four time waltz She stands before her mirror Rouge applied with loving care Her dancing eyes Kaleidoscope in motion Sultry sweet heat Savannah night comes alive Horse drawn carriage Rhythmic beat Down streets of cobblestone Aromatic Brandy Pungent cigar smoke Her suitor Waiting patiently Erie Spanish moss Spooky cloak Low country concert Crickets hold their serenade Nobel slice of time Genteel existence So long ago Once upon a Southern dream � Bill Grimes Jr. 2007

This is beautiful...extraordinary and so much what a Savannh moment can be for people. The moss sets the stage as the gaslights flicker. The smell of rebel jasmine and magnolias fill the air and the humidity can give more passion to the dream. I know....I've lived it over and over.

Thank you for this elegant surprise this afternoon. Now I want to travel home for the magic moments I miss.
