BITTERSWEET EPISTLE Bittersweet epistle Dylan Spoke of social change Nobel 60�s movement Sentimental protest Gone The days of dialogue Banter between comrades Violence Raw So brutal Crushing mass response No debate submitted Religious lines grow deeper Commercialized excess Aggressive ways of Islam Clash of ideology Rumors of war Only strife remains Prayers for our children Soon Preponderance Melts into indifference Peace is found within Love A conscious choice � Bill Grimes Jr. 2007

I'm watching a documentary on Bob Dylan tonight. He and Joan Baez were my favorites back in those immortal days when there was worth to fighting for what was/is right. People turn their heads now. It's a shame .
