Why Do I write?
It gives me such delight
to put on paper my thoughts,
my insight.
Writing clears my head
of unwanted dread.
My pen is my best friend,
who lets me be me
and see all I want to see.
Writing lets my heart feel what it
needs to feel,
whether it is a fantasy or something real.
I use it as therapy,
to make me happy.
To be able to write down my feelings,
is a great thing,
It helps build my self esteem.
To write words and rhymes that others
can enjoy,
makes me feel as happy
as a child with a new toy.
I am grateful to have been given this gift.
To share it with others
and to give myself a needed lift.
Why do I write?
It gives me such delight
And it makes my days
seem so bright with love and light.
I love it. Writing is healing I never thought how healing it was tell I started writing my feelings and expereinces in life.
Thanks for this you have a gift to share don't ever stop.
