The World

To be amongst the stars

 Looking down on all mankind

 If I was to be above you all

 I know what I would hope to find

 I’d look for a meaning

 Easy to understand

 So I could

 Explain to all of man.

 Whether you believe

 Or you choose to deny

 The truth in our hearts

 Always comes from the sky.

 We live this life

 With such high expectations

 In hope the world and all within it

 Would be a peaceful united nation.

 No matter what, there still would be those

 They would choose their own path.

 Would we look at them with pity?

 Or would we look at them and laugh?

 How do they know which decision to make?

 Following the rest

 Could be a mistake,

 Is the meaning of life a simple test?

 A test of how we live and love

 Can we really find the answers?

 If we look up above.
