My Technology 2010

My terrestrial tv

is on the blink

all I can see are

black and white stripes

winking back at me

My computer is slow

20 minutes to set up,

before the connection

even shows -

my impatience grows

Cassettes in the car glove box

and clunky manual gear stick

manual winding of windows

from the door and maps

on the car floor

 My mobile phone

is a chunky brick

It might take your call,

but not your pic

and don’t ask me to text

- next !

My landline phone

is connected to the home socket

and is suitably big enough,

to fit inside a giants’ pocket
