"What Is Love?"

What is Love?
A question, a puzzlement.
I have been there,
This place called love,
It is a place of rapture,
It is a place of spiritual healing,
It is a place of endless passionate nights,
It is a place of warm and gentle caresses,
It is a place of serenity and fulfillment,
But it can also be a place of deceit,
A place of mistrust,
A place of pain, sorrow, and enslavement.
I have visited all those places,
And now, at this moment,
I choose to live with the love I feel inside,
To live each day, knowing that I am in
control of the love I feel for myself and others.
I will not visit that place of deceit, mistrust ,
pain, sorrow or enslavement again.
I will only visit where the love is pure,
honest, and unconditional.
What is Love?
Love is not questioned, love is uncomplicated,
Love comes first, from your love of yourself!
Author's Notes: What is Love, a question we all ask at one time or another. I have been hopelessly in love, passionately in love, and comfortably in love. I choose to love myself first and then the perfect love will find me.

How right you are. Love is unconditional and never forgetting that there are two of you with hearts that should beat as one. Love is the feeling of pain within each time we are without each other.
