Time To Wake Up
by Amber "V" Mooonstone

3/19/10

Time to wake up,
cannot keep this going,
wanting to move forward
while fear is stifling my steps.

Always having positive thoughts
helping others through their life
why can I not help myself?
do I not feel worthy of my own help?

Walk into the light
to really see my storm
turbulent valleys
longing for pleasure peaks of happiness.

Wandering in the abyss of loneliness
takes a toll on the soul,
time to break loose
to find that glimmer of sunshine and hope.

Ascending the darkness
that shrouds my mind.
Awaiting the bridge that leads
to the other side.

Desperately clinging to life,
urging those steps that lead to
happiness and tranquility
to show me the way home.

Allowing the tender night
to embrace this lonely existence,
will lead to days of splendor
and fulfillment of desire and love.

Like the dolphin and the mermaid,
a perfect union of mind and soul
can be achieved with patience
and connectivity to the Universe's energy!

I am very moved by this writing...You have a very powerful spirit, one that doesn't give up on well being. Life is like our sky you never know what picture it will paint. Sometimes it is a bright blue sky other times brings stormy skies or dusty winds even snowdrift or a beautiful rainbow after nice rain. In life it is similar. We have good times and bad times but it is the good ones we focus on and continue to grab on to. The bad ones only to remind us and make us realize the difference. That it doesn't matter what picture life paints at the time we can accept and expect for the next good thing thing.Your poetry is outstanding, will continue on the look for more. Your good spirit reflects in it. Thank you for sharing your beautiful talent... Best wishes.

I can relate to this, Amber. Sometimes we have to slow down and take a day for ourselves. You still ended this piece with a sense of positivity, though. Thanks for sharing this message!

I am saddened by your poem. You speak to so many others who are alone, even those alone in a crowded room. I wish you God's peace and His joy. He created the universe for us to enjoy and us to enjoy Him as much as He enjoys us. Bless you, J'nia

To rest one's head on eternity lap and go to sleep when being transported deeper and deeper in time, perhaps back to yesterdays beginnings or unfathomable futures...

To help aid, give advice or be a friend to others is easy, to give ourselves the same advice, aid or even to like ourselves sometimes is not always easy. Good one Amber.

Maybe we can try to hard. Life has its natural path, we follow life's path and learn to take the correct road. And never the easiest road.

The is a vast diffo between being alone and loneliness.

Seya behind the bike-shed and I'll tell you all about it.
