"Ancient Voices Of The Wind"
By Amber "V" Moonstone

I hear their voices,
traveling through the wind
touching my soul with sacred melodies
soothing the restless spirit that dwells within.

Tenderly guiding my thoughts,
feeling tranquility seeping into my core
Searching for all that is good with the Universe,
Knowing that I will find my way toward peace and love.

The tender beats of the Native drums,
fill me with energy of days long gone by,
longing for that time when the Earth
was pure and clean, and water was nourishing.

We have forsaken the true element of harmony,
man is destined to dwell among the darkness
when the Earth begins to crumble
and dissolve into the abyss of human ignorance.

Longing to bring the Earth and the Native American spirits
back to the harmony that they once shared;
the touching melodies make my mind wander
to the days of the roaming buffalo
.

When water was clear of toxins,
and the rivers were refreshing sources
of health and life,
bringing sustenance to all who drank upon it's shores.

When will Mother Earth feel at peace
with mankind once again,
I am still listening for those Ancient voices
that travel serenely through the wind.......

Beautiful longing for that which is "right." As long as we worship the all mighty dollar we will never experience harmony upon this Earth. So sad but true. Hugs, J'nia

DONE VERY WELL...ONE CAN ALMOST 'HEAR' A WHISPER. A LOVELY WORK WITH THE PHRASES AND IMAGERY THAT STRONGLY SUPPORTS THE THEME. THANKS FOR SHARING AND LOVE, JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

And the most telling verse why I too am sympathetic to the Native American POV: "We have forsaken the true element of harmony,
man is destined to dwell among the darkness
when the Earth begins to crumble
and dissolve into the abyss of human ignorance."

I liked your poem a lot and i like that music too; that's why I even wrote a whole Symphony using N.A. feelings and influence. I guess it may have been one or couple of our past incarnations... Seems likely,
Have a good week anyway despite the world trouble...

So sad but I agree with these apt and timely sentiments, Amber. Thank you. Love and best wishes,

A beautiful write. I can recall times in my youth when the lakes and streams were clear and free of toxins, when gardens grew in rich, untainted soil. And yes, there was a harmony between man and nature. Will it ever get better or will it just continue to get worse until man annilates himself?

Dear Amber, I like the direction you took in this very fine writing. I think it was very serene and forthcoming. A beautiful writing and breathtaking!

GOD BLESS YOU Always

The combination of Social and Earth pollution creates a steady push toward making the Ancient Voices Of The Wind more and more difficult to discern and an upgraded quality of life less and less attainable.

Perhaps to be done wih the issue, we should just build one gigantic outhouse with pathways leading to it from every direction as the repository of all human putrefaction and put the expert transgressors in charge of the Compaction Unit. We'd be happier with our cleaner lives, and they'd be happy wallowing full-time in their toxic environment.

"Ancient Voices" will be my platform as I run for public office in the future. I'll just say, "Amber sent me." Do I have your vote?

"Ancient Voices Of The Wind" take us upon Mother's
ancestral stones where cultivating the soil and
living off the land offered unification to the
all empowering circle of life...(which I still live off
of through deer & pheasants-if one won't eat it-don't shoot it)
and now we have farm harvest for cows, chickens, and sows & eggs
all with chemical poisons to the chain, thus unending continuums
into the cycle of prosperity to the health of everything...
I value the circle Dearest Den Sister & also
I value ""Ancient Voices Of The Wind" for value to earthen offerings
is nourishing to the ensoulments of all
