COME TO ME MI AMOR

come to me mi querida
when life becomes a load
my shoulders are broad
my heart is a well of love
come to me with your pain
and your womanly fears
come to me when it is dark
and let me be your candle
when you are alone and chilled
i will warm you with the fire
of tender lover's kisses

i beg you not to send me away
never again force me to go
taking with me only your memory
and an undying hope of returning
come to me and leave behind
those who have shamed you
and treated your love as worthless
they do not recognize the treasure
they have so carelessly discarded
never again will your heart
be treated like a child's toy

come to me now mi amor and taste
the delights of a thousand nights
set afire by the flames of our desire
i will caress in mysterious ways
all those places, within and without
that are yet untouched, virginal
awaken the twin peaks of my obsession
and their dark ripe summits to rapture
in your sacred garden i will worship
and like an erotic hummingbird
sip the sweet nectar of your love

so come to me my love
and leave the rest of the world behind

I like what Kate has said below...but then, I tend to like whatever Kate writes. Not only does your sense of the sensual and passionate come lavishly through here,DJ, there is that magnificently protective focus that some of us are so naturally drawn to. I think this goes above and beyond the romantic norm to a tier few reach.

Beautiful...
Oh...you know I had to ammend this. I had my sound off and remembered you usually add a little something special to the background...never distracting. I recognized the music immediately but I am laughing to myself because before I realized there might be some well chosen music here, I had "Baby, come to me..." in the music of my mind.

Am a sucker for Santana, DJ... and this reads so hypnotic and oozing with the sugared temptation as the lure of a sweetshop to a tiny child. Methinks any gal who takes you up on your persuasion will quickly become a woman even if she enters the circle of your arms firstly as a timid little girl. Enticing and warm. Toasty, thank you! :)) Kate xx
