i remember you everyday,
not just on the day you left
but there is something so
poignant about that tragedy
convulsing pain is revisited
each anniversary of parting
those who perpetrated terror
died along with their victims
those who planned it were
finally wiped off the earth
but that day lives on in infamy
memories of suffering and loss
but also in the remaining love
and cherished companionship
of you and others who live on
in hearts of ones who love you
i miss you mi amor, forever
ever loved, never forgotten
I hope you didn't lose her on that fateful day in the twin towers. But if you did, I applaud you for your lovely poetry here and your willingness to continue on without her.
OF COURSE...HOW COULD ONE SPEAK OF THE BEAUTY OF LOVE AS YOU DO, HAVING NOT EXPERIENCED IT? SHE THEN...IS WHERE IT COMES FROM.
