Let no one move you, from where God has placed you...
Women, stand your ground.
When you feel scared, unsure of whom you are and stagnant amongst the never ending turmoil that can sometimes consume you; stand your ground!
When those who was supposed to be there for you, turn their backs, leaving you hurt and wounded, lost and dejected; stand your ground!
When you feel like your sacrifices have outweighed your rewards and you are dipping into your mental reserves to get through each day, acting purely on faith and God’s love for you; stand your ground!
When you find yourself at the mercy of those, whose ignorance challenge your deep rooted beliefs and your every step, please…, stand your ground.
When the unseen, unheard, unwanted and the unexpected threaten to move you from where God has placed you, look towards him and you will see that his strong and steady hands are what has been keeping you grounded and standing firm.
Women!
You will know when you are where you are supposed to be, so stand your ground!
Strong and excellent advice in your poem, M.J.; and appropriate for Mother's Day, too. If we are often seen as stubborn or agressive, so be it...we shall stand our ground.
