This was written to explain my need to write to anyone who wanted to know
The Writer
I want to take you somewhere that you have never been
Somewhere you thought, you could not get in
I want to take you there with the words I write
And give to you a whole new insight
I want to take your mind to a whole new world
and make you see the patriotic flag unfurled
I want to take your soul flying to the sky
and make you feel like you want to cry
I want to take you higher than you've ever been
and make you laugh outside . . . and in
There are many things I would like you to see
and if I can bring you in . . .
A writer I will be!
