Life is shaped by our choices. It offers us more of what we draw near to us.

Looming, swaying in the wind
Twisting turning how it bends
Reaching to the other side
Dare I breach it with my stride
Shall I stand and stay the same
Learning not from life’s pain
Trusting now that I won’t fall
Turn my back or heed the call
Forward then step by step
Hoping this time no regrets
Slipping, grasping holding on
Steady now no looking down
Straight ahead the goal in sight
Halfway there hope I’m right
No turning back to late for that
Careful now don’t lose your hat
Breathless reaching the other side
Looking back I say goodbye
Chin up now no time to hide
A new adventure, just need a guide.
