Eventually merging soul with mind

Tragedy bringing pain torrential
Purpose and wisdom ingredients essential

Lives shaped outwardly in
Falling short missing the mark
Lives driven inwardly out
Shaping life around the heart

Are we the masters of our destiny?
Shapers of our eternity?
Choosers of our final destination?
Deliberately moving without hesitation?

Shape well your path your journey’s end
To all give love, do not offend
Choose goodness in every choice
In your words, spread God’s voice
Separate your soul from shell
The soul lives on come heaven or hell
The choice is yours, choose it well
