You have been there for me Time and time again When no one else was But I was on the outside Looking in. You said you cared for me But didn�t love me Still � I am on the outside Looking in. You come in and go out As if I were a revolving door And have no purpose Other than to please you. Still on the outside Looking in. You say you love your wife But yet you come to me You leave me wishing it was me You cared so much about. I am still on the outside Looking in. I let you in because I love you. I have tried to replace you With both the high-class and Dregs of humanity But I am still on the outside Looking in It hurts too much To have my heart shattered so completely I can not be on the outside anymore Looking in There will never be anyone else but you. I wish you well and love in all that you do I just can not be on the outside anymore Looking in

I've been on the outside looking in most of my life
until I realized I didn't have to. I have a God up
in heaven who loves me unconditionally. With Him
I am always in.

I enjoyed reading this.

The sad fact of the human condition is that men and women cannot control their feelings...if they love someone, race, gender, religion, and yea even marital status does not change those feelings. How we act on those feelings is however determined by a set of moral ethics dictated by various factors such as society and upbringing. Now all that being said if you love a married person the bottom line is unless they walk away from the marraige the first time you share even so much as a French kiss then the odds are you are in for heartache for they will never leave. Great write though painful one Ann.
