His hugs and kisses make my heart race

When he sees me, he comes running

“Nana, Nana!!!” he cries excitedly.

A two year old bundle of fearless boy

Fear went down the drain with his first bath

A climber like his mother, a real little monkey

Apples and grapes, his favorite foods

A lock has now appeared on the fridge

And one may soon appear on the freezer door.

The wooden rails on the Radio Flyer Wagon

Now rest on the floor of the garage.

The wagon set him up to the top of Daddy’s car

A bouncing up and down on the sunroof soon began

Ohhh a slide, the windshield became

Slide down and climb back up.

Yes I have a very very young man in my life

The love of his Nana’s life

I stock the apples and the grapes

Juices and Cheerios are in my kitchen cabinets.
