Ah Sand-Stone! Irresponsible of time and matter

Those granules of the steps of many
Thoughts and things of love, hate, and problem

Cast into the shore and sea of monstrous evaporation

A sweet silver lining of shining polish stones

Glimmering in the night under the moon
To compliment a lover’s stare and embrace

Where the young now thrive on a playground
of mother earth, the blue foam of the tide

washing away the sinful thought
now to bring fresh ideas on an ocean wave.
Like a virgin and oil lamp for a wedding feast

I celebrate the coming of nature on a wave
On my board with a pointed nose, foot forward and a stance

to keep a surfer balanced through a tube in a wall of water

Where does my footsteps take me,
Leaving a trail of tears and happiness, our hands joined

Tightly with dreams and aspirations

And the warmth of a kiss
None can compare except delivered by the angels

Who my love to spare and let go

In the misty flow of sand and stone and care

I heard the crashing waves and sounds of birds

Springing to release me of mercy, pity, and grace

Over the mountains I will sing of the praise of your love

Till the sunset and freshness of tomorrow

Curses and wrongs aloud on the surface of my feelings

The heavens and the earth gave forth a frown

Down poured a heavy rain from clouds of my beliefs
Things on the sand

Are pebbles of my life to compare
The birth and death of a child gone to soon

The scorn and silence of a hardened heart
Or the love of a lifetime lost forever?

May God forgive and leave me not alone
As I look forward away from my footsteps
To my time on the sand
