The Blue Pacific churns its envelope
behind the sleepy ville
Through a white mist of watery spray
But what's the catch of fleeting minds
that unceremoniously feeling of depravity?
My Love...you'll only run, skip, and fall, slipping away like a mermaid
you'll look for better loving in this recounting
You've seen better days full and rich depths
as lost lovers found.
The encompassed trade winds pierce the morning tide
replaced by laughter, crying, and then deep silence
But this reads now and sadly vanishes
When does these coral eyes see across the blue?
You'll only smile, you'll make do
I find no love or remorse of your longful heart
Only your own overused thoughts
Must Pacific blue cut like sharpened swords?
And dawn's light swirling in memory?
The true longing, lonesome, painful joys I forgot
Be still with me as the message rolls
For onlookers and doubts, a renewal:
'Tell a new story'
By the epitaphs and inscriptions
this bland emptiness too
And 24 hours of bland existence?
emptiness...love lost...
None! No more! I scribed
What scowl you have and fancy stricken
This sleepy ville by the seaside
careful and unknowing
I go about on my sandy empty walks now
This watery stillness waits
My Dear Coral Eyes...
