Flying through the air like a corpsed rag doll
Time stood still,
seconds frozen in memory
Bones, flesh, ripping, tearing, scrapping,
silence filled the cold concrete
Time stood still,
skidding along the frigid surface
Stainless steel ripping, tearing bones,
slashing holes in flesh, pain piercing cold,
hardened metal, numbing every flesh fiber.
Hazy light shown from another place
Time stood still,
In the radiant ethereal glow
A passing pained voice said,
You must learn to go with the flow
when you do you will truly know
that you are loved.
Time stood still,
on the frozen concrete.
An understanding of my flight.
