Anger is ..

Poem Artwork

A.. allowing others to steal our serenity


N.. a prompt to navigate thru what is important vs what is not


G.. giving your power away


E.. a tool to embrace things that matter and toss the rest


R.. reminding us to feel the feeling then let it go to God


 


Anger,


how many times will you tear me apart


Anger,


 how much controversy will you embroil me in


Anger,


you make trouble in my otherwise trouble-free life


Anger,


you make me physically ill


Anger,


 let me compose myself; leave this instant!


Anger,


 you are a truly wasted emotion!

Anger only destroys the one who is angry, and you are correct... it is truly a wasted emotion! Thank you for sharing, my Friend!

Very good. So true as I have found by personal experience. I now try to be a peacemaker. Too bad more people don't realize the truth of this writing. Thank you for making it clear.

Miriam, I try not to make room in my life for anger for it is my life it would upset and I love life far to much and intend to enjoy it with anger tossed aside. How many times will we let it tear us apart. Thank you for sharing your words.
