Poem Artwork

in the truth of this moment
thoughts like waves
tingle and pitch
penetrating cells
remaining from yesterday
and forming the creation
yet to come of tomorrow

in the truth of this moment
every sense I am is awake
and aware smelling air
intoxicated by spring rain
I’m tasting bits of sensation
to the feast of bloom opening
to my vision while I listen
to my heart rhythm

in the truth of this moment
I can sense the inner child
in various stages of excitation
and cautiously biting a fingernail
eager to believe its self value

in the truth of this moment
is courage and cheer
sensitivity to intuition
and soul guidance
of creative expression

in the truth of this moment
something much greater exists
than I consciously am able to say
but I know It, in that space
which consists in a moment

Amazing what you can realize and absorb in the space of just one moment and you capture it brilliantly weaving a braid of the senses with Nature and humanity. I always enjoy your perspective Debby.

You are totally "grounded" and aware, Debby. You convey this most effectively via your verses. Thank you. Love and peace to you,

Now this is what I call living in the moment!

"I acknowledge that my being here is no illusion
and I ponder the horizon in every direction
as I build my own path toward tomorrow."

AMAZING!!! I wrote something entirely similar last night, but posted Mary, Mary instead. That's the collective consciousness for you! This is what is meant by being completely in touch - with the inner and outer selves, as well as the life-force and vision of the universe. Very well expressed, Debby, thank you. Kate xx

Sometimes we capture or perhaps it captures us the stunning beauty and magic of the world around us which makes all every day problems and worries seem mundane. You captured that moment beautifully. Well done Deb.

Wow, Debbie. This would make a good meditation script to be taped and played every evening for relaxation.

Absolutely divine.
