I led an unbridled mare, white with black mane through a forest the sky crisp and sharp with mornings breath clinging in the air fur and hide are my outer garments the breeze tossing strings of spiderlings across the open rays of the early sun and the leaves crackle as we walk ahead, a cave in view an amber light glowing from its inner chamber the sensation of familiar welcomes my certainty and the outer world disappears the walls are cool and damp rocks and pine needles cover the floor the mare is left to graze as I accustom my eyes to the light I am greeted by your speaking eyes sitting beyond the open flames eyes, that straddle my thoughts glimpse my impression and render my content in a manner that makes me warm
