Poem Artwork

despite winter air

the sun shines bright

its warmth slips, seeps

via window panes

blazing orange streaks

highlight star dust streams

patterns, prisms, pulsing energy

radiating sensation dimensions

transmitting molecules specs

vibration resonance dissolving

the borders of the imagined self

where are the edges?

fingertips buzz, tingling sensations

contemplating infinity upon the complexity

of external data; is this false or truth?

so simple

internal silence subdues even this glorious color

Orange, who knew it had so much to say

I think that sunshine settled in the orange. Giving us vitamin C during the long winter and reminding us that we are so dependent upon the orange light of the sun, no matter how low in the sky this time of year.

Debby, it looks like you have split the energy of sunlight into its simplest components like a prism spewing a ray of orange to the rest of us. Perfect images.
