Just as I have my knife and fork ready in my hands,
and my bib resting on my chest,
and my tongue licking my lips from left to right,
and I say "Yum...yum...!!" inside my head...
and then...
...*Beep! Beep!*...and...
...OFF it goes!!
My Road Runner has run away from me once again!
How cruel!
It has left me with my jaw dropped to the ground!
WITH WARM APPRECIATION AND GLEE, I REMEMBER 'COYOTE AND THE ROAD RUNNER' ANIMATED SERIES. I WAS ALWAYS GLAD THAT COYOTE NEVER CAUGHT THE ROAD RUNNER AND ALWAYS GOT CAUGHT IN HIS OWN TRAPS. THANKS, SANDIE...WELL DONE. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS
I can picture that old coyote and his frustration. If you ever get to the southwest desert area of the United States, you might be fortunate to see a road runner cross the road for running alongside the road. They are very fast and it is their ticket to survival from both the coyote on the ground and the eagle overhead.
