My favorite time of the year.
The whole world changes color.
Time goes by slow.
Magical things start to happen.
Cuddling up in front of a fire.
Making hot chocolate with a child.
Building snowmen for contests or personal enjoyment.
Creating the lovely snow angels.
Finding a big hill and sledding down it.
Dancing in falling snow.
Making paper snowflakes.
Singing carols around the neighborhood
Winter is the season to be a kid again.
To plan a snowball fight against your enemies.
To plan a snowball fight just for fun.
Planning family dinners with talks in front of a fire.
Eating sno cones.
Buying snow globes.
Roasting smores in front of a fire.
Smelling the fresh clean air.
Winter is the most magical time of the year.
My favorite time of the year.
Mary Angela Nangini's poems celebrate the richness of life and love. From the city to cottage-country and the roads in between, Nangini explores the changing seasons of her varied region. (This book will soon be reprinted in hard cover.)
This is a book of free verse poetry that addresses the seven main tests in life and offers some sensible solutions to passing those tests with minimal discomfort.
Be safe,
Karen
