She walks among the ebony shadows
the dryad wood nymphs know her well.
She dresses with the scent of pine cones
walking over the sacristies of fertile dells.
Laying stems of epinedium and sandal wood
she lights fireflies across the imbue sky;
To dance with the passion of imagination
while teasing beckon upon the pleasure trove’s cry…
She leaves the trail of fragrant ideas open
lingering over pastures meadowy cascade,
as a carrousel of emotional nuances give beckon
she births from earth sedums implanted brigade.
Knowing the imprinting roots of her tenderness
she gives light upon the darkness rooted to fear;
Subsiding concerns into her ameliorate balms
she inspirits the vast pathways of love far and near…
"Ameliorate balms", where upon this earth could they not bring positive change and good will? Good intentions are usually the balms of disappointment. When the will to see them through to successful conclusion becomes diluted with delusions. Vickie your poem is, "just an old fashioned love song sung in three part harmony".
