The Lambkin Totem is Saved
Olive green pastoral rings
windswept earth and pride
around the deflections of her soul
secluded within the forthright echo
the ewe lambed her birthing cries
this is a day of new beginnings
the suffering births itself too
with patience and true sacrifice
the rituals will remain unheeding
balming all her wounds to heal
I heard the newborns sigh today
the gentle lambkin’s bah
this birthing chamber is a sacred priorate
redeeming new life into the precious circle
the bondage of false religions have died
Seeress of the Lamb lives
Her lineage inhales upon her new breath
Divine is the prophesy of all archaic truths
The lambkin totem is saved…

Jodie Foster's Silence of the Lambs
“She didn't give a damn about some of them, but she had grown to learn that inattention can be a stratagem to avoid pain, and that it is often misread as shallowness and indifference.”

“When the Fox hears the Rabbit scream he comes a-runnin', but not to help.”
¯ Thomas Harris, The Silence of the Lambs
“I collect church collapses, recreationally. Did you see the recent one in Sicily? Marvelous! The facade fell on sixty-five grandmothers at a special mass. Was that evil? If so, who did it? If he's up there, he just loves it, Officer Starling. Typhoid and swans - it all comes from the same place.”
