All That Remains
Oh that the hay field aligned the forest
Where the hedge grove overgrew ravines
And the cockle burs flourish with thistles
Near the ever growing bounty between
That a whippoorwill calls their love song
To nestle within the firm branches of daylight
Where the canvas of Mother’s porridge grows
And the starry heavens whisper to the night
Overshadowing the moon flowering aged trellis
The vintage of serenity blossoms year round
From twilight’s dusk of the celestial rising
Into the darkness of shadowy prisms I've found
"Oh that the hay field aligns the plush forest
Where the hedge grove overgrows in between
That I lay my soul upon this new awakening
Absorbing with my spirit all that remains unseen…"
