Sometimes, I feel as though we live in a world where many feel they have "the answer" to life, when in reality, the answer lies within each one of us...

excellently composed
yes our thoughts belong to us
Until we share them
Then they are taken
for what they are worth
and yours carry the wealth
of hidden treasures.

AMEN. I, FOR ONE, AM SO GLAD THAT THIS IS JUST THE WAY IT IS. WE ALL, IN OUR MANY DIVERSE WAYS, CONTRIBUTE TO THE 'KEY' OF LIFE...AND WHAT A BEAUTIFUL KEY IT IS. THANKS FOR SHARING THIS WONDERFUL WORK. BLESSINGS AND LOVE, JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

Some wonderful insight here. I can't imagine being someone with all the answers. I wonder if their lives are any easier, without the stress of searching? Hugs,

Dawn, this is a good aphorism that many are finding difficult to follow in this world. It would solve a lot of our problems, in my opinion.

Well said Dawn. Life is sometimes a kin to the task of examining an elephant with our eyes closed and only one square inch at a time.

a much more elegantly conceived and finely wrought "perfect utterance" than it's more basic paraphrase: "none of us has got it all together, but together we've got it!" It's the way, I beleive, life is designed to be... Always such poise in your writings, Dawn. You are a beautiful thinker. xx

Both your introduction and your poem speak volumes in just a few words.

I think many of us want to fix things when someone shares a problem, so we give our thoughts and opinions, trying to be helpful, and while something we say might click for the person we speak to, in the end, as you say, it is a contribution, a piece that makes a part become whole, as we sift through those parts and put the puzzle together from the feelings and knowledge inside us.

Well done, Dawn.

Mystical, spoken in wise, clear and lovely tones ~

Yes, like spices or gathered wildflowers, the collection is much more enchanting when one can appreciate the many unique flavors/colors as they work together ~

Sometimes I just wish I knew the right questions let alone the answers. But, each of us finds solace in understanding even if that understanding is individual and derived upon by a specific and unique set of circumstances. I think "answers" close that uncomfortable loop, fill the void. That closure, however, is still closure and can shut us off to new, broader ideas. With all this rambling, I am ultimately saying that I love this poem - I love your recognition that separation is an illusion and we are all connected in our "One.ness."
