Smooth petals unfolding
Subtle, so exquisitely born
Roses


Tiny
Pips cascading
Like giggles in the grass
Musical notes of Nature's song
Chorus


Yellow
On winter's brown
Touch the heart with warm news
Forsythia dots so golden
In spring

I love the use of form that conveys the fragility of the subject, as well as its complexity for its diminuitive size, I also love the alliteration, "soft splashes" and "giggles in the grass," a blending of sounds that dapples your subject onto the canvas you've painted with words. Nicely done.
