It is a phenomenal thing. I have been adding up things…you know sums, totals, and combinations of sums and totals. Well, it has become abundantly clear to me that the thing I have in abundance is not likely what any of you think it is. You have probably surmised that because I have a tearoom I have an abundance of forks, knives, spoons, cups, plates, or bowls. Maybe you guessed I had an abundance of tables, chairs, and plants or maybe you even guessed it was flavours of coffee or tea. Well, as much as I would like to agree with you that this is true , I fear I cannot.
Or maybe because each of you know I am an artist, you have guessed that I have an abundance of brushes, paints, and other supplies, or maybe you would even be tempted to think it might be paintings, but again that would be terribly untrue .
It could be that since I am an author, you think I have many books, programs, reference manuals, pens, pencils, or markers, yet this too would be wrong and I would be lying to state otherwise.
In reality, after all the sums and checks, the one thing I have discovered I have an abundance of is wonderful and trusted friends who have assisted me when needed, stood behind me when I was down, shared their insight when requested, and never questioned the hand held out to them in friendship. This is truly what I have an abundance of … friends – each unique, yet special in so many unspoken way.
You are sooo creative. I like the arcostic poem, as well as the list of "W's" - Thank you Trish!!!!! I think I'll just shamelessly claim some of these. Heeeheee!!!!!
