A time to hurt, a time to heal...

Poem Artwork

In the midst of the day
and in the middle of the night
sorrows well and come to play
bringing sadness with the absence of light.

A deep welling of tears that has no end
flows from an everflowing source.
Bringing a gut wrenching headache
whenever, for the moment, it has run its course.

It comes when it is least expected
and fills my eyes with those tears
that I cannot hide from being suspected
of being depressed or full of fears.

Losing something you didn't know
existed, leaves a funny kind of emotion or something of that kind.
There's an empty feeling somehow and the sadness begins to grow
into the space left by the ghostly remants of a child that miscarriage leaves behind.

It helps to have a loving and caring mate who stands nearby,
who helps to endure the long sorrowful days and the tearful nights.
The future will come and end the heartache of todays mournful cry
and the present will become another of the past's sad and hazy flights.

"A time to hurt - a time to heal" Hopefully
Celtic you are more into the healing stge now. I know the hurting must have been terrible. And it really helps with a loved one by your side to hold and comfort you and make the hurting feel less and less as "Time Goes By." Bill Murray
