I had a choice to make today
To be or not to be
A stranger in a stranger world
Of my love for poetry

I still don’t feel I make the grade
A poetaster at best
According to the great reviews
I’m somewhat like the rest

It hasn’t been a year as yet
When I first joined in
Most of you have been around
Since only God knows when.

I believe my life has been enriched
From reading what I’ve read
So thanks so much for all of you
And everything you said.

Just one last thing before I go
Am I to be or not
Without a doubt I’m going to be
Once more Thanks a lot.
