I’m so over you, I want you to know
That the hold you once had has completely let go
 
When you playfully kiss my neck
There’s no trace of that shiver, not even a speck
 
When you touch my hand softly as you speak
My knees do not buckle and I don’t go all weak
 
When you hold me in a parting embrace
There’s no warmth in my heart, no heat in my face
 
All the emotions to which you held claim
Have now been extinguished like a smoldering flame
 
There’s no longer a flicker, it’s just not the same
My heart doesn’t leap at the sound of your name
 
I wish I could shout it from coast to coast
I’m so over you!! Well... almost.
