A dog can turn an ordinary day into a bright one. (Picture by Caroline McCoy)

Dogs The dogs I saw today Would make a big grump smile, A fox terrier with his own water cup A collar of sequined style. A great oafish Labrador Wandered off the track, His galumphing gallop, his otter tail, Seeking more friends for his pack. The non-descriptive, joyous mutt Feet flying in the purest joy, The connection between us, a shared smile A delightful, sweet envoy. There’s nothing outside the human world, I love more than dogs, Their fidelity, their sweet souls, Their endurance of monologues.

Dogs are mans' best friend. They are faithful to you, know when you are sad and blue, can sense when you are ill and never turn away from loving you. I miss my cocker spaniel Joy so much. Died at age 13 a day before my birthday, still with me in spirit though. So sad to see her go. Love dogs and all animals.
