Home now, I remember My doctor's hands, elegant Against his white coat, Courteous and sure, Where my heart stutters. "We can fix this," he said. I smiled back, healing.

The heart can attack us unexpectedly, and I'm not talking about love. I'm talking about the muscle that we all depend upon to pump our lifeblood. When it does attack, we are shocked and surprised. We are more surprised when the doctor tells us, "we can fix this."

I hope you are feeling better overcoming your heart's little attack on you.
