I appreciate everyone's comments. I think the photo may have caused some readers to read this piece as literal. It is an allegorical poem about laziness and how it can seduce you into staying in bed all day in the same way that a lover can seduce you into staying in bed all day. :-) I've been dating laziness for a while now and our relationship is getting really serious. *LOL*
