PAST LIVES Review Poem

Sometimes the past stays long with you.

But strong feelings – what will they do?

Consider two youngsters grown now.

   At 12 they loved each other. Wow!

The girl, a crybaby at times.

The boy stays with her at those chimes. 

Both are sad when separated.

One in New York, neither dated.

In South Korea the boy stayed.

He cannot help feeling dismayed.  

.      12 years pass and computers help.

Who wants more than machine on shelf?

Another 12 years go by again.

Girl married to a happy man.    

Boy will be in New York real soon.

He wants to see girl. Will she swoon?

Slow moving scenes to learn each part 

and help this film go to your heart.

Humanity in every way,

 PAST LIVES charmed me to say “Hooray!”
