I met little Mackensie yesterday and I will never be the same.

Finally Released!

Yesterday, while at a ballgame and excitement everywhere.
I saw a tiny little girl so precious, that I could only stare.
I found myself being drawn to her just to say a quick hi.
I told her Mother how precious she was, a tear fell from her eye.

Not knowing what to do or say, I quietly sat down.
I talked to this tiny child, as I sat there on the ground.
Her mother finally looked at me with sadness and distress.
“She was diagnosed with leukemia, it showed up in her test.”

I felt my heart go out to her, like it’s never done before.
My heart no longer belonged to me; it hurt right to my core.
I held this precious child, praying with a broken heart.
“God touch this precious child, heal every ailing part.”

Her little eyes looked up at me and she smiled O’ so sweet.
I could feel the tears flow right down beyond my cheek.
Her two little ponytails popping up so charmingly.
Blew in the wind, like God was touching me.

He heard my prayer I know he did, for I felt it in my soul.
He loves this precious child, he will make her whole.
I looked directly at her Mother and told her quite effortless
That God is watching over them, he doesn’t believe in tests.

She smiled thoughtfully at me and said she was feeling peace.
The tears she was holding back flowed through,
They were finally being released.

You were drawn to this little girl, just as you are drawn to other people. I knew that from your life in Pa AND HOW GOOD YOU DRAW OTHERS TO YOU. YOU ARE SURELY A PEOPLE PERSON TOO.

Deborah's comments are right on - He loved this child through you.
How it hurts us when a little child is seriously ill -- like our great-great niece Baby Esa with her retino-blastoma. But doesn't God touch our hearts with great compassion and a need to pray and know He is near to comfort and help?
This is very moving, dear Bonnie; your love is clearly felt.
You won't soon forget this mother and child; neither will they forget your loving response and your prayer. God will use it.

Love, Connie

Sad. But I like, "he doesn't believe in tests". "Strange" things can happen if we believe.

Touching and heartwrenching poem of being drawn to another, being the arms and feet of Jesus who picked up that child and comforted the mother through you.......Well Done! Deborah
