The faith of a child is endless, they believe they can fly, they believe the unbelievable and I was no different.

My faith is still very strong but I'd give anything to have the faith and trust I did as child. This was one of those times.

Don’t Know What To Believe!

When I was just a little girl I went to play outside,
Deciding to get out my bicycle and go for a little ride.
But as I sat upon my bicycle I looked up to the sky.
I saw a man walk in the clouds, he looked like you or I.

As he walked I watched him and he never looked around.
He never seemed to hesitate even though he was off the ground.
The sun was bright so I squinted as tight as my eyes allowed.
And he walked straight ahead; he walked through a billowed cloud.

When he came through the other side, he looked smaller than before.
He kept getting shorter about the size of a child of four.
Then all at sudden, he disappeared, into the heavenly sky.
I watched and hoped to see him again so I stood anxiously by.

I must have stood there for awhile ‘cause I never went on that ride.
My mother unexpectedly called my name, and told me to come inside.
I couldn’t wait to tell her, so I blurted out what my eyes had seen.
My mother looked at me, and said quietly, “My dear you had a dream.”

How was that even possible, it was in the middle of the day?
Could I have fallen fast asleep, when I thought I was at play?
No, that can’t be true ; my bike was there and parked close by.
“Oh Mom, why don’t you believe me, about the man in the sky.”

I knew Jesus walked on water & with faith I could too, if I try
So to me it seemed such a normal thing to see a man in the sky.
I never questioned as a child, but now I ponder if it was actually true .
What did I actually see that day if anything; I don’t really have a clue?

Now that I have grown I’m sure what my mother said must be right.
The mysteries of him were never revealed; God never showed me the light.
Sometimes my faith takes a hold of me and creates many spiritual dreams.
I don’t know what to believe, for nothing in life is simple nor as it seems.

I believe that someday...it will all make sense and we may find out that things were simpler than they seemed. :~)

Believe that I don't believe because if you don't believe that I really believe...it will be so confusing!
That's a joke God told me when i wasn't in the mood for laughing, He kind of make it happen.

Sugar! You truly saw what you saw! God doesn't waste
His Awesomeness on jaded grown-ups, but saves His truly wonderous sights for His most Beloved, the children, to enjoy. This write truly touched my heart! HUGS! SC

I remember hearing that quite young children still remember seeing either a family member or God, before they were in the womb...apparently grandparents that die before a child is born is there when the child is sent to the womb, and these kids remember it, but only till they start to learn of reality and such...taught by parents that no longer believe or remember...could be what happened to you in some way...? ed

quite a poetic childhood story Bonnie, it gets that way sometime, not knowing what to believe, personally all I know is that I have faith and believe in creation, nothing just pops up with all the right ingredients, there's intelligent design in life, thanks for your visit
