.....words

Blankly she stared
into reality,
the mocking bird sang
cruel and unsparingly.

Reflections of life paled
as internal wounds bled,
her savior exhaled in her
his last breath of dread.

She left ...........her prison
..........with words unsaid.

Superbly done, Tracey. It is a dream translated within the eye of an artist full of passion.
